The Floor Stripping Process
There are two methods for traditional floor stripping.
The first is to remove the existing floor coverings with our heavy floor stripping machines, which may be operated from behind or from a ride-on position. Ceramic tiles, timber flooring, vinyl flooring, cork tiles, and direct stick carpet have all been stripped by our machinery and competent people.
United Trade Substrates uses specialized concrete grinding equipment to remove tile glue and carpet adhesive after the floor covering has been removed. This is done to properly prepare the surface for a different floor covering, such as polished concrete, industrial concrete coating, Epoxy Screed, Flake coating, or non-slippery floor coating.

The second method of stripping the floors involves utilizing a concrete grinding machine in conjunction with sandblasting and shot blasting, or chemical strippers to remove floor coatings and concrete sealers.
